Michelle completed her yoga teacher training in 1999 at the Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, Virginia. She has since participated in the Teacher Development Intensive for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program created by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts. She has also studied with a broad range of yoga teachers including Gary Kraftsow, Sarah Powers, Rodney Yee and Erich Schiffmann. In the past few years, she participated in Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health workshops on Yoga as Medicine, Yoga for Depression, Anxiety and PTSD and a Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training. In 2014 and 2015, Michelle completed the Integrative Restoration Institute’s Level I and II Teacher Training Programs offered by Richard Miller in the San Francisco Bay Area.
